Ellen Moore Art

I have been painting portraits of the fallen soldiers from the Iraq-Afghanistan war.  Although this makes me sad, it is a worthwhile project.  I also have done a series of portraits of Frida Kahlo. She has always fascinated me as well.  I love figurative work and love to be more expressive than realistic- although often clients want a more realistic portrayal of the subject.  Painting people using any medium: pastel, oil paint, or charcoal is my true joy.
